I am always excited about new technology. Laser therapy has been used in holistic and traditional vet practices for over a decade now, with research on the technology going back to the mid 1960s. I have seen first hand the positive affects of laser therapy on a variety of diseases and ailments. My experience includes, training (under the watch of a veterinarian) to perform prescribed treatment protocols, while hearing first hand how amazed pet owners were on the positive outcomes of the therapy visits. I myself, have also seen how transformative a laser can be both on the healing process and the diminished affects of pain both on client’s pets and my own.
As a pet nutrition counselor it is my number one goal to make sure my own dog as well as clients I work with have the tools they need to help decrease pain and help their dogs and cats live a life of longevity and vibrant health. By utilizing diet, supplement and a portable laser device pet owners would have the gold standard of care, allowing them to be proactive about their animals health right under their own roof.
Laser therapy can be costly if performed regularly at a vet practice. Worse yet, many pet owners live in parts of the country where holistic pet care is severly lacking.
I am ESTATIC to find Wuffes Portable Laser Devise, which will allow pet owners to add one more tool to their healing tool box. The cost of laser therapy at a vet office ranges from $25-$50+ dollars depending on the treatment protocol (this would include weeks/months worth of treatments). Wuffes portable device is $300, of which a pet owner would have paid off their own device after only 6 treatments! I am excited that I will have access to this healing technology for the life of my pet.

How Does it work
The laser emits two types of light, both red and infrared light waves that alter the biological activity of cells. When used correctly, the laser can stimulate tissue regeneration, reduce inflammation, kill bacteria, reduce pain and improve orthopedic surgical outcomes!
The laser emits two types of light, one at 808nm and another at 650nm. These lights go through the body’s tissues and even each inside the cells. Once inside, they interact with the mitochondria, which are like powerhouses for the cells. This interaction boosts the production of energy in the cells, know as ATP.
The increased energy production helps cells regenerate and heal. It’s beneficial for various cell types, like the ones in bones, cartilage, nerves, muscles and other soft tissues. Additionaly, the laser’s effects on the blood vessels cause them to widen, which attracts certain cells that help with the healing process, such as macrophages, neutrophils and lymphocytes
